Dr. Vaccaro-Incisa has been appointed member of the ICC Italia Arbitration Commission, a specialized ICC body permanently tasked with discussing ways to improve fairness, efficiency, consistency, and costs of arbitration.

Dr. Vaccaro-Incisa will teaching the public international law, international investment law, and investment arbitration modules within the course of Comparative Business and European Law. Upon his invitation, senior officials from the European Investment Bank will join a class to illustrate the Institution’s mission and work.

The inclusion of Dr. Vaccaro-Incisa, who has publicly voiced criticism regarding the EU-backed ‘Multilateral Investment Court’ proposal, shows a neutral approach on the part of the EU Commission, arguably reflecting a merit-based procedure to be lauded upon (particularly, in the field of international arbitration).
